HP 64767 Series Emulators

The HP 64767 A/B/C active probe emulators support the complete Intel 186 processor family including the EA/XL, EB, EC and the low voltage versions of these parts in addition to the older 80C186 and 80186 processors. Designers who select one of the Intel 186 family processors are assured of a full line of support with integrated, modular tools including emulators, analyzers and software development tools on a variety of development platforms.
The HP emulators have active probes to ensure maximum electrical transparency. Active probing permits the use of long 914 mm (36-inch) cables for easy target system access. The emulation probes contain the microprocessor, emulation monitor, run-control circuits and 1 megabyte of dual ported emulation memory. The emulators include both foreground and background monitors for maximum transparency in a variety of application environments including interrupt-intensive systems. Extensive hardware and software breakpoint capabilities let you start and stop code execution at the exact point you need to debug complex programs.
All emulator probes use a common frame, emulation control card and emulation bus analyzer. Changes in processors require only a probe change. Upgrades to 386 DX or EX can also be accomplished with a probe change. The modular trace analyzer offers 8K, 64K or 256K trace depth with a rich feature set that you expect from HP.
Choose from a variety of HP and third party debugger interfaces for PC and workstation development environments. These debug environments offer a complete suite of software development and analysis tools to assist in creating high-quality, reliable code that meets specifications and is completed on time. Many of these debugging environments support C and/or C++ and various real-time operating systems.
